Robert Alderson
Robert Alderson earned his B.S. in Accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 1991, before achieving his Juris Doctor (J.D.) cum laude from the Maurer School of Law at the same university in 1996. Robert is currently attending the University of Florida, where he expects to earn a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a focus on Taxation in 2022. He also holds the title of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and he is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of CPA's (AICPA). Robert gained exceptional knowledge and experience in business entrepreneurship by founding, managing, and eventually selling his own business.
Robert frequently presents at Continuing Education seminars on various subjects, including Business Organization, Succession Planning for Family Businesses, and Estate Planning. He is a contributing writer to the Indiana Law Journal, Indiana State Bar Quarterly, and Indiana Lawyers' Weekly. Robert is active in civic and professional organizations. He has served on the Executive Committee for the 7th District Judicial Bar, including Secretary-Treasurer (2009), Vice President (2010), and President (2011). He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Chapter of the Indiana Association of CPA's (INCPA), including Secretary (2007), Vice President (2008), and President (2009-2010).
